DIY Worsted Weight Beanies to Make and Donate

This week, I’m introducing crochet beanie patterns (and a few knit!) that to work up in worsted weight (4) yarn that would make great donations to the charity of your choice. Last week, I mentioned that I’ve participated in the Hat Not Hate event as well as the Crochet Cancer Challenge. There are countless other events and organizations to become involved in and to donate to. A quick Google search will help you determine the best match for donations in your area.

Now, here is the schedule for the Round Up Posts leading up to a new hat pattern release from Bliss This!

I have to say that the majority of my yarn stash consists of worsted weight yarn. It’s easy to work with, hooks up into a good looking project rather quickly, and it makes a nice warm hat to keep, gift, or donate! Be sure to scroll and check out the hats below. Many of the designers have included coupon codes that can be used in their shops this week!
