Have you seen The Sheep Detectives yet? Run and watch the trailer. I’ll wait. [PAUSE] Okay, now that you’ve seen it, you’ll understand how excited I am about this cute free crochet sheep pin that I just came up with! This movie looks sweet, adorable, and wholesome (well, except for the murder!). I’m going to see it with my friends, and I just HAD to create a little gift for us all to remember our girls’ night out! This is perfect as a brooch (pin) but would also make a great keychain, purse dangle, or a hanging accessory for your car or elsewhere.

This crochet sheep pin is designed with Curio 3 Cotton Thread from We Crochet and a 2.75mm hook. However, you can really use whatever thread or yarn and hook that you have. The only thing you might need to purchase is a 1″ to 1.25″ levered pin-back. Those can be easily found at your craft store or ordered from Amazon. If you make a larger sheep, you can get a larger pin as well.
