Spring puts me in the mood for a good book! This easy to make crochet bookmark is the perfect QUICK project. You can use your favorite yarn scraps and make one to match each of your handmade sweaters! One thing I LOVE is a quick and satisfying project, AND MATCHING. This definitely fits the bill as it can be worked up in less than an hour and takes very little yarn.

Originally published in Happily Hooked Magazine in February 2020, this bookmark is going to make great gifts for all the special people in your life too. It’s completely gender neutral, so whip up some for all those upcoming holidays. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 9th here in the States. Father’s Day is June 20th this year. This would be the perfect gift to pair with a book or series of books for the reader in your life!
I used Kelbourne Woolens Mojave sport weight yarn to design this bookmark with, but you can really use anything the suits you or that you have spare yardage of.
Just One More Page Bookmark
A little about that name… I’m the type of reader who can’t put the book down until my eyes are drooping and my book has fallen across my lap. This usually results in losing my place! This is my solution. I can fall asleep holding my book and still keep my place in the pages. HA! You don’t have to be a read-until-you-drop reader to appreciate a handmade crocheted bookmark though!
